We can’t believe that the first month of 2020 has sped by already. Here at South Downs Secure, there is a lot on our motoring radar for 2020.
So, in this month’s blog, we thought we’d share some snippets. Read on for news of what’s happening at our secure car storage facility, details of who we’re partnering with and what’s on our motoring watchlist.
News from South Downs Secure:
If you’ve visited us lately, you’ll be aware that we are very nearly reaching capacity. But… There is good news, our expansion plans are well underway, with designs for a second car storage building and new client facilities in progress. Meanwhile, we’re continuing to improve client facilities in our current building. Our new ‘Driver’s Lounge’ is easy on the eye, with Limited Edition signed artwork from Ricardo Santos gracing the walls. We also have you covered from car to “Driver’s Lounge” couch in the wet weather with our custom made umbrellas. Additionally, both are available to purchase.
We’re also eyeing up some potential ‘paddock’ style parking as a storage solution for clients that may prefer this option. We won’t ever compromise on security, and this would still be within our secure compound, but it could be a suitable option for people who need shorter-term options.
In digital news, you will no doubt see some changes to our website. We’ve been in the motoring business for many years, and during that time we’ve built up a network of clients and industry contacts that love cars. They also like to buy and sell. So, this year we’ll be launching a new sales ‘style’ platform that puts vehicles in front of potential purchasers through our exclusive networks.
New Partnerships for 2020:
At South Downs Secure, we are proud of our highly respected portfolio of trusted affiliates within the automotive industry. These partnerships ensure our clients remain in safe hands. This year we have a few more planned partnerships.
Mark Slade – Leather Renovation:
Mark specialises in the replacement of worn or damaged colour coating to both new and old ‘finished’ leather. He restores, renovates and repairs leather upholstery, restoring your car’s interior to near new condition.
Rardley Motors, Ferrari Specialist:
This Ferrari Sales and Service specialist have over four decades in the business, dealing exclusively with Ferrari. We’ll be working with Rardley to bring our clients the very best expertise in fault diagnosis, repairs and servicing.
Auto Curators:
We’ve partnered with Paul from Auto Curators since we opened our car storage doors. But this year, we’re launching a new service together that solves the sticky interior that has plagued Ferrari and Ferrari owners. We have jointly sourced a specialist, who once we have removed all the affected parts will strip the sticky coating, prepare the parts and recoat with a non degrading finish. We then reinstall all the components, restoring your Ferrari back to looking its very best.
The Extraordinary Car Club:
Last year, we hosted the launch of Sam Miller’s Extraordinary Car Club, but this year we’ll be partnering on a more formal basis. Sam’s approach to the age-old ‘Car Club’ is both exciting and unique. We know our clients are going to love what’s coming up as part of this exciting collaboration.
